The 85th Iowa General Assembly has convened and legislators from around the state have been welcomed to the State Capitol with several visible reminders of the importance of credit unions in Iowa.

Banners are displayed on street poles around the Capitol, radio ads are promoting credit unions on Iowa Public Radio, and dozens of credit union advocates will be gathering at the Capitol as the session moves forward.

 As the legislative session unfolds, we will be providing you with information on legislative activity that impacts your credit union-and, occasionally, asking you to engage with the legislative leadership on a number of issues.  We know that you care about issues impacting your financial future — so we will keep you informed.
