Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR ACCOUNT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER THE SWEEPSTAKES, NOR DO YOU NEED TO HAVE AN ACCOUNT OR SERVICE. OBTAINING A C1ST PRODUCT OR SERVICE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. ALL METHODS OF ENTRY HAVE EQUAL ODDS OF WINNING.
How to Enter:
To enter, participants must register or log into Banzai and complete two (2) financial education modules and the corresponding quiz between April 1, 2026 and April 30, 2026. Access to Banzai financial education modules is free of charge.
Alternative Method of Entry (AMOE):
To enter without completing financial education modules, individuals may mail a 3x5 card with their name, address, phone number, and email address to: Community 1st Credit Union, PO Box 737, Ottumwa, IA 52501, postmarked no later than April 30, 2026 and received by May 5, 2026. Limit one (1) entry per person. Mail-in entries will be included in the random drawing and have equal odds of winning.
Limit one (1) entry per person. Participants agree not to hold C1st, their partners, employees, and/or affiliates responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected, or unsuccessful entries. Incomplete or late entries will be disqualified.
Prizes and Winner Selection:
Six (6) winners will each receive a $400 cash prize. Total approximate retail value (ARV) of all prizes is $2,400. Prizes will be awarded by check or, at the winner’s election, deposited into the winner’s Community 1st Credit Union account. No account is required to receive a prize.
Winners will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the promotion period. Winners need not be present to win and will be notified by phone toward the end of May 2026 with details on how to claim their prize.
Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable. Prizes must be claimed by the individual who completed the qualifying requirements. C1st reserves the right to disqualify entrants who fail to follow these Official Rules or who make any misrepresentations relative to the giveaway and/or the redemption of prizes. All decisions are final and binding. Winners must present their photo ID and claim their prize within 30 days of drawing.
Limit one (1) prize per person. C1st reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
Odds of Winning:
Odds of winning are based upon the number of eligible entries received.
Promotion Period:
The promotion period runs from April 1, 2026, until April 30, 2026. C1st reserves the right to discontinue or modify this giveaway at any time for any reason.
Eligibility:
To be eligible for the giveaway, you must be 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law. Employees of C1st, officials, and members of their immediate families are not eligible to participate. Immediate family is defined as spouse/significant other, child, sibling, and parent (including step relationships). By entering this giveaway, entrants accept and agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of C1st.
Liability/General Rules:
C1st is not responsible for any loss that may occur in connection with the giveaway. Winners agree to hold C1st harmless from any liability arising from participation in the giveaway or the acceptance, receipt, possession, or misuse of any prize.
C1st and each of its officers, directors, employees, members, representatives, and agents are not responsible for any negligence, claims, liability, injury, property loss, or other damages of entrants and/or winners arising from participation in the giveaway or use/misuse of prizes awarded.
C1st is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by tampering, unauthorized intervention, or technical failures. In the event of suspected tampering or interference, C1st reserves the right to disqualify any entrant deemed responsible and/or suspend or terminate the promotion.
Tax Issues:
C1st will report all prize winnings to the appropriate state and federal agencies as required by applicable law. Winners are responsible for all tax consequences (if any) of the prize(s).
Consent to Publicity and Release:
By accepting a prize, winners consent to permit C1st to utilize their name and likeness in promotional and other materials without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law. All entrants agree to release and hold harmless C1st and its affiliates from any and all claims arising directly or indirectly from this promotion.
Governing Law:
This promotion is governed by the laws of the State of Iowa.
