Step Out of the Darkness: Central Iowa Walk

Join the community in walking to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide at the Out of the Darkness Central Iowa Walk. Hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP), this powerful event brings together loss survivors, suicide attempt survivors, mental health advocates, and community members to honor loved ones, raise awareness, and fund life-saving research and support programs.

Participants can connect with local mental health organizations, engage with community support tables, participate in honor bead ceremonies, and walk side-by-side with others dedicated to changing the conversation around mental health.
