Missoula Children's Theatre Presents: The Little Mermaid

Join the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis for an exciting, week-long theatrical experience as the Missoula Children's Theatre brings The Little Mermaid to Celebrate Church in Knoxville, Iowa. This unique program gives local children a hands-on opportunity to participate in a full-scale musical production, learning the ins and outs of performing, teamwork, and live theater in just one week.

Open to local youth, the audition process assigns cast roles for the entire show, ranging from lead characters to ensemble cast members. No prior theater experience or prepared material is required to audition, making it an accessible and encouraging environment for aspiring performers of all skill levels.

Rehearsals take place daily from Monday, September 14, through Friday, September 18, between 3:45 PM and 8:15 PM. Throughout the week, professional tour directors from the Missoula Children's Theatre work closely with the cast to teach lines, musical numbers, stage movement, and choreography, helping young actors build confidence and stage presence.

The week comes together on Saturday, September 19, with two live showcase performances open to family, friends, and the community. Come out to Celebrate Church to support Knoxville's talented young performers as they bring The Little Mermaid to life on stage!
