Community 1st Credit Union is pleased to announce two employee transitions serving the Knoxville community. Macalah Tucker has been promoted to branch manager of the Knoxville branch, while former branch manager Jamie Hughes has transitioned into a new role as the Commercial and Agriculture Lender, serving Knoxville, Oskaloosa, and Pella.
C1st will hold an Open House on Friday, November 13th, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., and all community members are invited to celebrate both transitions with treats and refreshments. The event will provide an opportunity to welcome Macalah to her new leadership role, congratulate Jamie on her new position, and celebrate their continued commitment to serving local members and businesses.
Tucker has been with Community 1st Credit Union for nearly three years, gaining experience in several roles. Her experience has helped her build a strong foundation in member service and understand the importance of helping members achieve their financial goals.
“I’m excited for the opportunity to build meaningful connections with the Knoxville community and get to know the members we serve,” said Tucker.
Hughes celebrated her 10th anniversary with Community 1st Credit Union in August. In her new role as Commercial and Agriculture Lender, she will serve business owners and agricultural members across Knoxville, Oskaloosa, and Pella, helping connect them with financial solutions to support their goals.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Commercial and Agriculture team. C1st offers so many products for our business and agriculture community members, and I look forward to partnering with them on their journey,” said Hughes.
“Both Macalah and Jamie bring valuable experience and a genuine commitment to serving our members and communities,” said Karen Wilker, Regional Manager at Community 1st Credit Union. “We’re excited to see Macalah step into the branch manager role in Knoxville and Jamie take on this new opportunity supporting our commercial and agricultural members. These transitions reflect the opportunities we strive to provide our employees while continuing to strengthen our relationships with the people, businesses, and communities we serve.”
Community members are encouraged to stop by the Knoxville branch on Friday, November 13th, for an open house from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., to meet Macalah, congratulate Jaime, and celebrate both career transitions.
